We are back! And this time this is a podcast.
Last year, during the summer, we made you discover Leaders in Sustainability S01.
8 interviews, 8 portraits, but one common goal : Make the world more environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
What is this, and why do we do it?

If you would rather read us, here we are...
Maybe you know that feeling: Sometimes it seems that everything is already lost.
The planet is dying… being socially responsible towards your employees, your stakeholders, the society, is overrated (or so some people would have you believe)…. Not only do these two aspects always seem diametrically opposed to performance and profitability, there also seems to be a bewildering array of ways to go about making the world a better place. Some say this, some say that… and it seems everybody has got their own little recipe.
We would argue that this is not a disadvantage, it is the reflection of our endlessly diverse nature as human beings, and just as this our diverse nature leads to a myriad of different business models and strategies, there also needs to be a myriad of different approaches about doing things in a better way, just as water rarely takes a single path, much rather it trickles through lots of small cracks and holes.
This is why we have interviewed a diverse set of people who all in their own way try to change a minute portion of their world to make it better.
What they have got in common is that they are leading in a way that benefits societies and the environment, while (and that’s crucial!) maintaining financial performance.
The question that remains is: Who are we?
We are Audrey-Flore Ngomsik & Markus Fanselow.
We both hold PhDs in chemistry, and we are corporate social responsibility strategists.
We have been working in implementing sustainable products & processes in different kinds of organisations, and as agents of change, we are true believer that being responsible & sustainable & profitable are intertwined!
Because we believe in being sustainable and responsible while making money, we wanted to highlight leaders who (like ourselves) work every day to make it happen, and, more importantly, to put the record straight… Talking about sustainability should not be as depressing as we sometimes see it in the media.
It is an occasion for change, an opportunity for innovation in the three pillars: people, planet & profit.
Sustainability! What else?
We hope that you will enjoy this podcast and do not hesitate to contact us to tell us what you think!
