Today, we are introducing you the collective 3137.
3137 is an artist collective based in Athens, founded by Chrysanthi Koumianaki, Kosmas Nikolaou, and Paky Vlassopoulou in 2012.
We wanted to interview them because as artists, they are putting in the heart of their practice the three pillars of sustainable development: #people, #planet, #profit!
We are very excited because they are our partner in a European initiative, Studiotopia.
It is aimed at transporting the message of sustainability using visual arts.
The project in which we collaborate is called "Can the circular economy be an answer to a more sustainable food system & a healthy diet?"
It is hosted by the Onassis Foundation.
The podcast
We talked to 3137 about sustainability, arts in general as well as visual arts in particular, and how and where art could influence the transition to a more sustainable way of living.
